Professor Wilson began teaching at Medaille in the fall of 2005. He teaches in the area of sport management, specifically: sport marketing, sport law, sport economics and finance, and sport facility and event management. He also oversees student internships.

Professor Wilson has a double BA in English and Religion from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA.

He has an MFA in Film from the University of Miami in Miami, FL.

He has an MA in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco in San Francisco, CA.

And is finishing his Ph.D in Sport Management from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH - Go Bucks!

Prior to arriving in Buffalo, Professor Wilson taught for 2 years at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA and for 2 years at The Ohio State University as a graduate assistant.

Professor Wilson's professional posts have included the athletic departments of Stanford University and the University of California-Berkeley. In addition to this, he spent three years in elementary and secondary education in Turlock, CA and Pasadena, CA. He also worked customer service for two years with Delta Air Lines in their Miami, FL and Los Angeles, CA offices.

Professor Wilson is married to Melodia, and has two kids, Wil and McKinley. He lives in North Buffalo. When not teaching, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, hiking, paddling, rock climbing, and fishing. During the summers, the Wilsons spend a good deal of time in their RV, traveling.
