TheSportEvent.com is a product of Lonni Steven Wilson, Ph.D., an assistant professor at Texas A&M University – Kingsville (TAMUK). The site has been in operation since 2005. It serves as the primary source of information about tournaments and other sport events being run by sport business students in Dr. Wilson’s college courses. As such, the site is a non-commercial, educational website designed to 1) aid sport business students in the marketing of their student-run events and 2) provide potential participants with information about the latest events being run by sport business students at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
